To ensure proper fit we recommend that you send us at least two tubes prior to purchase. We will insert your tubes for fit in the rack and send you a photo with your tubes contained in the openings.
Designed for higher production runs than our THS177 and THS177D Single Tube Sealers, the MSTSS500 and MSTSS760 are pneumatically-operated plastic tube sealers that are capable of sealing up to 3,000 tubes per hour. The seal bars accommodate a rack of tubes which are sealed while the next rack is prepped. A feed-through design allows removal of the sealed tubes at either end. Increase production by improving throughput with this simple yet efficient system.
With many available control options, such as seal heating and cooling temperatures, air pressure regulation, and jaw pressure, customizing for different tube sizes and applications is easy and simple. A knob on either side of the unit is loosened to slide the seal bars up for taller bags and tubes. IMPAK custom produces tube racks based on your tubes and will require samples.

Included with each purchase:
The MSTSS760 can be upgraded to include IMPAK’s Intelligent Sealing System (iS2), which is a control system for heat sealing equipment that offers pin-point digital control over time, temperature, and pressure, via touch pad interface.
The system is more than a digital control upgrade, it combines an advanced Siemens PLC and HMI with proprietary pneumatic and electrical components, to deliver temperature control within one degree, accurate sealing time with readings every millisecond. Additional conveniences such as recipe storage and operator locks put iS2 enabled sealers in a class of their own.
The iS2 is completely customizable; IMPAK’s machinery specialists evaluate the needs of each customer to create a list of software features and components specific to their individual project. Contact our team today for a quote based on your specific needs. Learn More About the iS2
As a leader in custom designed sealing equipment, IMPAK regularly evaluates customer-specific upgrades to the base model MTSS760 units. Typical upgrades are listed in the order section above, with prices indicated, and are detailed under the “Options” tab. IMPAK also offers upgrades which are not listed, but can be quoted. For example, see the custom unit made for Viking Cold Solutions below. If you have upgrades you would like IMPAK to evaluate and quote, contact our team. Contact IMPAK

Dual Element
Also known as Bi-Active Heat. This option is used to seal thick materials or materials that require a high temperature to seal.
A standard sealing machine is equipped with a single sealing bar. A unit with the dual element option has two seal bars, this allows both sides of the film to be heated simultaneously. It also reduces the time it takes to seal a material, increasing production and output.
Typical applications for the Dual Element option include, tubes and flexible packaging used for products made with glycerin, oils or thick creams that can seep between the layers during the sealing process.
Dual Element Kill Switch Option
This option refers to a toggle switch that allows the user to turn the second heating bar on or off on a unit that already has the dual element option.
This option will convert the sealing unit from single element to dual element and back at the flip of a switch. This is extremely useful when sealing tubes of varying thickness, or when sealing different types of products on the same machine.
220 Volt Option
In the United States, 110 volts of power is standard. However, in places such as South America, Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia, the standard is 220 Volts of power. This option allows the user to operate the unit where 220 Volts of power are available.
5/8” Wide Element with 220 Volt Option
The 220 Volt unit comes with a ¼” wide heating element. This option allows the unit to have a 5/8” wide heating element. This is used for aesthetic purposes or for larger tubes that require wider seals. This option is only available for units that work with 220 Volts of power.
Bar Drilled Option for Water Cooling
This option refers to the holes that have been drilled through a second seal bar that allow cool water to flow through the bar. As the unit is used repeatedly, the heating elements tend to get hotter and, after a while, the user must pause to allow them to cool before resuming sealing. With a water cooled system, this wait time is dramatically reduced. Note: For this to work, you must also have a Digital Water Chiller. See below
Digital Water Chiller
This self-contained water cooling and circulating system allows the user to cool the heating elements by using cold water. This option can dramatically increase sealing production by reducing cool down time. Note: for this to work, you must have the Bar Drilled Option for Water Cooling described above.
Bar Drilled For Air Cooling
The seal bars have been drilled to allow for air cooling. While reducing wait time and increasing production, this option is not as effective as the water cooled system.
Additional Tube Racks(available only for the MSTSS760 Pneumatic Tube Sealer)
Custom cut tube racks made to the customer’s specifications. This allows the user to have multiple tube racks available for use. The use of multiple racks can speed up production time.
Heated coding Bar Option (available only for the MSTSS760 Pneumatic Tube Sealer)
This custom embossing attachment is made according to the customer specifications. This option allows the user to emboss a message in the seal of tubes. Available only for a single element machine, this option can be used for Part Numbers, Lot Numbers, Company Names, dates, or any other information necessary. You will need to purchase the number and letter sets separately. For additional information, please contact our sales department at sales@sorbentsystems.com

Example of how IMPAK can build production tube sealers based on customer-specific applications. In this case an upgraded TP-30 tall enough to accommodate Viking Cold Solutions' product, complete with a custom tube rack for increased production speed.
The sealing system designed for Viking Cold Solutions is an excellent example of how IMPAK’s engineering group took the basic frame of the TP-30, a unit with a 30” wide seal bar designed for sealing multiple tubes, primarily for the cosmetic industry. They then increased the height of the basic unit and machined the product rack to be a positioning block for the product that is key to Viking Cold Solution. This allows the company that was previously filling and closing them one at a time, to now put them in a rack that holds six, dramatically increasing their production.
IMPAK produces custom printed pouches and packaging with an emphasis on materials with distinctive barrier properties to protect products from the adverse effects of moisture, oxygen, light and more. Learn about our unique custom capabilities.
High barrier bags are used to preserve and protect products. When paired with an oxygen absorber or desiccant, products enjoy even greater shelf-life and stability. However, selecting the appropriate package is not always as straight forward as it seems.
Not every Industrial Vacuum Sealer applies to every application. There are different models and types of Vacuum Sealers available, and each one of those sealers has different features that can affect the way a production line works.
